Greetings ~

I bought several of these cheap wooden model kits back in September 2016 to keep in my workshop stockroom for little short projects during the cold and snowy winter months. I decided in January of 2017 to build this one. It's a World War I bi-wing and I figure the scale must be around 1/24th.
I found it a fun project. It was my first of many of these kits to build. It was easy, the parts were in really good condition and it went together just as the instructions showed. These kits are geared to anyone age 6+. So, since I'm 72, I thought I may have a chance with it. No, I'm not going through my second childhood. I've never left my first one yet.
I'm not sure of the manufacturer. I think the company is called, Nieuport. The kit series is "Legends of the Air". The kit number is 040691 and the series number is 404. If you like building models and can find these, they are a fun build and take around two or three hours. A great way to spend a boring day or a bad weather day indoors. This kit comes with a small sheet of sandpaper and it includes a small tube of wood glue. The only thing it does not have is a bottle of stain. But I have plenty of that. Or you can paint it when it's finished. It also makes a great project for beginners or children. The kits are priced at only a dollar or two so they are inexpensive as well. An all around good deal. Also, there are several different styles to choose from.

I bought this little airplane model kit in September 2016. I kept it in my workshop so I would have something to do on a snowy day that I couldn't get outside. In January 2017 I got the chance to build it.
